Mr. Sik Nin Ho was born in Hong Kong. At a very young age he went to India with his uncle to help their soy sauce manufacturing business. It was until the Sino-Indian border conflict happened that he could not but left India. Later on hearing from his friends that London could be a place for living, without much planning in mind he came over to London. Fortunately he bumped into a friend at the train station coincidently and through this friend Ho found a restaurant job in Chinatown on the same night he arrived London. Being one of the second batch of Chinese migrants who settled down in London, Ho is well aware of the anecdotal account of Chinatown. In 1983 he started to run a Chinese herbal clinic with his friend in Chinatown. And because the daughter of a magazine editor who got healed by their herbalist, their clinic became extremely famous because of extensive media coverage. Their business prospered that even people from Scotland would come a long way to get medical treatment.
