Mr. Yuk Wah Chan came over to the UK in 1963. Being a full-fledged patriot, Chan found some like-minded people and joined the Confederation of Chinese Associations in the UK. He organised nationalistic activities, published printed materials. He was elected as a Chairman of the Associations between 82 and 92, working tirelessly to promote the nationalistic activities for the Chinese in the UK. Until 1989 he stepped down from the activities of the Associations.
