“Tang Cheung arrived in the UK in 1968 and recalls those early days with a tinge of nostalgia. The pay was meager, making only 3 pounds a week which went directly to Cheung’s accommodation rent which was also 3 pounds. Cheung finally ventured together with some friends to set up a restaurant. After residing in Chinatown for decades, Cheung has so much to share and countless stories to tell.”
